As a licensed accommodation provider in Kenya, MEVAJ HOMES maintains a register of all guests, in line with the Tourism Act, 2011, its regulations, and the conditions of our county and tourism licences.
What we record
- Full name, nationality and home county/country
- Identification document type and number
- Phone number
- Unit, arrival and departure date and time
- Vehicle registration (if parking on site) and purpose of visit (optional)
How it works
- Verify your ID online before arrival (quickest), or at reception.
- On arrival, show the original document. Our staff confirm the details and record them in the register.
- Every adult sharing the unit is registered the same way.
- Departure is recorded at check-out.
Access and protection
The register is held electronically, with ID numbers encrypted and access restricted to authorised managers. It is disclosed only where Kenyan law requires (for example, a lawful request from the National Police Service) and is otherwise handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Refusal
We cannot accommodate guests who decline to provide valid identification. In that case the Cancellation Policy applies as for a no-show.
